Ender Curse part 10Nobody knew what to do. Lalna was gone, and they didn't know how to find him or where to look.Xephos stood on the balcony on the roof. He couldn't face the others, knowing that it was his fault Lalna had left.He was staring at Lalna's journal, reading his last words over and over again. It was only then that he realized his hands were shaking. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Lalna was his friend and he needed help. And Xephos hadn't trusted him. He even said so, and Lalna clearly heard him.He didn't know what to do. He needed to fix this, but he didn't know how.Frustrated, he let the journal fall from his hands, and he was about to go back into the house when he noticed something. When the journal landed, it opened to a page near the end. There was a sketch on the page for a machine that Xephos didn't recognize.Stooping over, he picked up the book and looked at the blueprint. Lalna had scribbled something underneath it. He said it was a way to find the mutant Enderman.
